Iris Gosselin fell in love with wildlife as a child, while hiking and camping with her family on Mount St. Helens pre-eruption. During her growing-up years in Washington State, Iris filled her days by climbing trees several stories high, viewing wild bear cubs, and bringing home the occasional chipmunk in her mother’s best colander.
As an adult, cameras found their way into Iris’s hands and journeyed with her from Alaska to the Caribbean, from oceans to mountaintops to canyons. Together they have dog-sledded, vacationed among grizzly bears, ridden horseback partway across Arizona, helicoptered over Hawaii, hiked through national parks, and boated in the Florida Everglades.
Iris’s wildlife photography transports art lovers to places few will ever go, where you’ll encounter a misty morning lily pond from the viewpoint of a loon, the delicate veins of a dragonfly’s wing as it perches atop a grass stem before you, and much, much more.
